There are two possibilities.
One: Recruit says "I think we are a good fit" and he now leans toward my school over the competing school.
Two: Recruit says "I think we are a good fit" and it's meaningless. The recruit still favors the competing school over mine.

I did an advanced search for the phrase and came up with zero results.
I'd like to move on and sign my backup if the recruit isn't going to sign with me. Don't want to leave him sitting out there, where anyone could come along and decide they want him for himself.
