I will let cjok take over dino's team but nevertheless I updated page one to make the rest of round 2 untimed and shifted the dates for the other days. Because I don't want to keep pausing and unpausing. Just be ready for next week. We have the rest of the weekend to finish round 2 and hopefully get ahead on the draft.

I want to get thru this draft as much as anyone, but in Larry's defense, this post from Thursday doesn't exactly scream of urgency. He might have seen this and decided to take the weekend off. Everyone should at least try to check in once a day though. Especially when it's getting close to your selection.

I will not select until my time slot or until Larry selects... I was going to take Capela. I sent it to Bigmac945 as a proxy... The chances of a guy who selected D Favors in the 2nd of actualIy making a quality pick like Capela are slim.. I'm not select because I do not think it is right for robusk to make a selection for a player who's time slot isn't up yet.

So far as I know, Larry still hasn't opened his site mail. He might not pick until tomorrow. He might have forgotten about this altogether. In that case, we'd be skipping EVERYONE who hasn't picked off the clock yet. We can't do that just because of Larry.

I think the commish should stick to his guns.

I've been in 'a lot' of drafts as well.... I've NEVER seen the 24 hour rule.. so, as far as I'm concerned, u just made it up

I not 'making it quite dramatic'- you're the one who is skipping a rookie drafter who's time slot isn't up yet, when u stated to just relax over the weekend wand be ready next week. The last thing we need to do is alienate new players by slipping them. They'll never come back, and we need them... It's not far to Larry. It isn't fair to me.. If I'm 'being dramatic' for doing what is right, then so be it.. Come back tomorrow

You can come back tomorrow and if it is 24 hours later, you will also have a substitute pick. Not going to be difficult or anything, it is just how it is. If larryspader posted a pick in the next 5 minutes it wouldn't be a valid one. We have to have some mechanisms for keeping the draft moving.

I truly am sorry that the guy you wanted got picked though. It happens though.

If your going to have a rule, you should post it with the original league post, in the league description when u are explaining how the draft order works and the rest. You can't just make **** up as we go. You can't make up a rule, if it isn't announced at the beginning or agreed upon by everyone later. Larry is a rookie, he doesn't know what's going on- and you don't care- u just make up rules as u go to suit your needs
