So he is actually a RS JR and has 2 seasons of eligibility left?

I've run into this a couple times too, and thought it was odd. But beachhouse is correct, Fisher will be a SR/5. It's not that he's a RS JR, it's because he was ineligible his freshman year. If you look at his stats history, Season 94 shows "Academic Non-Qualifier."

I just think it's weird that they note him as a "Departing Player" in the recruiting screen, since he will indeed be back next year, and you actually have only 2 spots to fill.

I believe he also has to have a 2.7 GPA or better to get his SR5 year of eligibility.
