A couple of questions: if 2 players on different teams share an award in a given year, then we can choose players from 6 teams instead of 5? Also, are pitchers eligible as a Gold Glove choice, assuming they haven't won any other awards that season?
1 - If players shared an award, you could only choose one of those players as an award winner. In the end, you can only have 5 award winners (from 5 different teams), and can only be choosing teammates from those 5 teams.
2 - Yes, one of your GG choices can be a pitcher, provided he isn't on the same team as one of your other 4 award winners.
3 - Based on your second question, I should also say that if a player won multiple awards, you are free to choose him for any eligible award. . .i.e. if a pitcher won CY and GG, you can select him as either your CY or one of your GGs. I actually did this with Don Mattingly on my 1985 team, he won both MVP and GG and I opted to select him as a GG (none of my other award winners are Yankees). So technically you could end up with both CYs or both MVPs on your team if your year fits this scenario. I'm adding this to the rules for clarification.
