You sure about the first part? I could have sworn the AD used to intervene after you cut a certain number, which I recall being like 3-4... I could be wrong.

Pretty sure you can cut all of them eventually, but you need to do it in waves. You can't just cut 12 guys. You can cut 6 then sign a couple new guys then cut more.

Established vets said onlysis did it. But he may have done it in intervals. Like cut 4, sign 4, cut 4 more, etc, etc.

Assuming I read it right, it's been done, BL. I can't recall how many I cut but I recruited 6 FR, 1 JR my first season in Rupp.

Season 103 to 104 in South Dakota I cut 6.

Only reason I know this is because 102 I wasn't there; the past roster shows 12 guys.

103 only shows 6. So I must have cut them all between 103 and 104

I was only allowed to cut 3 or 4 guys with Stanford last season. I didn't get any specific message or anything, but I no longer had the option to "withdraw scholarship" after the last cut I made. First time I'd ever seen that happen.

I've signed 9 before. It isn't that hard if you have both sessions. I think you can't have more than 6 open scholarships if you want to cut people. Maybe it's 8.
