I'm tired of trying to get the '89 A's over the hump. Twice now they've had good regular seasons and then get washed out in first round of playoffs.

I'm switching to the '85 A's for this go-around

The 89 A' have had some of the best seasons ever for this league but have never even made it the WS.
1989 A's wins - 107, 104, 102, 96, 96, 93, 90 - all playoffs, no world series appearances

What about my 1911 Cubs, who I'm trying for the 6th time? First five times we had win totals of 99, 102, 100, 90, 101. Made the playoffs all five times. Got to the WS twice and led both times 3-2. Still no ring!
