Well I'm an idiot for choosing a 1 clone team for the $90 mil theme. Didn't even think about hitter clones. I went full retard

I went franchise soup. Since my ranking is in the 80's, I will let you draw your own conclusions as to the genius or moron status...

5-1 to open the seasons. Stop now, please.

FYI - I'll be doing standings updates at least as frequently as every 16 games (10% of the season)

4-2 start. Not bad. Would've been 5-1 but I blew a 4-0 8th inning lead in one.

2-4, let the collection of 1 run losses begin!

Exactly how I feel

1-5, including a 12 inning loss in the 70M league, lol.... doesn't get much worse than that

1-5 here too, including 63 Koufax getting shelled in the variable league and in the $70M league giving up a 3-run walk-off homer to Randy Velarde.....Randy F'in Velarde. Ugh.

Talk about crazy. 1-5 also and I could post the EXACT same thing, just switching W. Johnson getting shelled in the variable theme and Bip f'n Roberts hit the 3-run walk-off HR against us (4-2 loss) at 70M.

d_rock, I completely messed up the 90M theme, too. After not finding a good team to clone (like the 60s Astros or the 2008 Braves), and contemplating a 72 Orioles team that even after cloning had a .312 hitters OBP, I scrambled at the last second with a 69 Orioles team where my only clone was Dick Hall(!). And after cloning Hall I cut Jim Palmer(!) to get under the cap. I might have done just as well not to clone at all. At least the second team I built had about the same pitching and defense and I improved hitters OPS by 89 points. I'm just hoping I didn't "spider" this theme.

It's early, but it's looking like I drafted too many innings in the variable cap and extra-base hit league and not enough in the soup league.
