'99 Lowe, my best pitcher in the $100M league with an ERC+ of 230, has given up 6 runs in 1 inning over two appearances to blow both games to start the season. In the last game, he entered with a 6-4 lead, two outs and runners on the corners...walk, triple, walk, homer, 6 runs. Sounds about right.

On the plus side, my clone experiment appears to be off to a good start. My lineup has drawn 8 walks and is 12/12 in SB in the first two games.

A schwarze in the pm2 set makes this day not as bad a start as it was looking

2-4, 5-1, 2-4...shot par on day 1.

My $70M team last year started 3-16 before finding a forward gear...

At the 162 game mark last year, bigmc led with 100-62. WaitNSee was 91-71...

In the 2nd 162 I went from 30th to 5th. Schwarze found himself in the most difficult divisions, and Mikey watched his 80M team stink it up...I still haven't figured that one out...67 wins, yet 7th overall at the end of round 1...

3 teams in first, only one team farther back than second. Seems like last year, although slumping after a 12-6 start is much better than slumping after 3-15. (Not that I've ever started that slowly, but I know I've never been 15-3.)

I also chose franchise, which I think bodes ill for your selection. But then two of the nine first-place teams in my league are also franchise soups, so maybe it'll be OK for both of us.

Will WIS be willing to do the standings matrix again for us this year? They have for the past several tournaments.

Also 9-9 on day 1. Just about right for the #48 seed.

I started 1-5 including a 1-0 win. Thanks ozomatli and jbohrman for your Game 1 posts. It made me feel better. But then I went 3-3, then 5-1 so I got back to .500. That made me happier, too.

Not even 1 team in any of the 6 leagues in which I am playing is off to a 4-0 start.
