The more offensive park choices for doubles allowed you to not be penalized for drafting some triples too, though, and also let A+ range have more impact (arguably more overall benefits than just drafting less innings in Petco)

I still think a balanced triples team in Petco was the way to go. Petco automatically gives you a +5 advantage in triples (+2 vs -3 for everything else). My team is currently at the bottom of the league in doubles, which I think may be holding me back a bit, but they're Top 10 in homers and doing fairly well on the road offensively.

Always good to outscore your opponents 45 to 24... only to go 1-5 in the 9/22 am session (shutout twice, scored 1 run in another 2, and score 39 in your lone win).

Billy Wagner has a 1.19 WHIP for me on the road in the XBH hit league, but a 1.74 WHIP at home in Petco Park. I'm absolutely baffled as to how that can happen. I don't feel like that variance should even be possible. Surely if you suck that much in the most extreme pitchers park, you should not be so successful on the road.

He's had a couple rough outings, but it seems to be moreso that 8 of his 16 home appearances have been less than an inning. He's only logged 12.2 innings at home vs 26 on the road. I'm surprised his home innings total is that low.

Here's something pretty insane. My 120 mil team is 74-55. We just finished being swept 12-0 for the season by Ballantine's team. We are the 2nd best team in the NL - Ballantine is the best. We are 74-43 against all other teams!

Riddle me this WIS, how can I lose 3 games in a row to a team with a .333 win percentage who didn't pitch a pitcher in the series above 94% fresh with most pitchers at 90 and below? I can understand losing a game, but to only score 11 runs in the series is absurb with that pitching fatigue. Something flawed in the SIM there.

sessions like this are why people find WIS tedious...0-6 AM, lost 8-5, 8-0, 8-0, 8-1, 8-2.....it's like the SIM isn't even trying...hey cubbies84 games are up what do you want to do sim engine? oh i dunno, i'm busy, just give all their opponents 8....

Picked up a schwarze today to get to 5 teams .500 or better. It's not going to do enough good, but I'm feeling a little better about the outlook at least. Only two possible playoff teams though, so it's really just playing for pride now.

This has been a very frustrating round. Two of my teams have dramatically underperformed their run differentials and I am likely going to end up with only three playoff teams, knocking me out of the Top 10 and ruining any real shot to win.

That, above, is not my team. But how does a team with a real stat line of 1.36 ERA and 0.88 WHIP get a 10.31 ERA and a 2.28 WHIP in the sim?

The park is Yankee Stadium. The owner is sjh0825 in the variable cap league (he chose B level defense).
