I remember under 2.0 that a box score was posted once with a half score of 39-2 or something similar. Pretty sure the discussion on it was what gave rise to the whole concept of normalization whereby a kid with a 71 percent free throw percentage would have his ability to make the next free throw either improve or decrease based upon in-game performance (i.e-if the kid was 6-for-6, there was a higher chance that he'd brick the 7th FT than there was for the 1st one). The same held true for 3-pt shots.
Given the insane first half-to-second half swings I see in this game, sometimes I wonder if remnants of that twisted logic don't still hide within the programming.
