Hi all. I'd like to get a thread going about card collecting. Who all collects, breaks, or sells?

I collected a lot in my youth - still have boxes and boxes of old cards. I buy the occasional pack for fun, but I wouldn't consider myself a serious collector anymore. Diamond Kings are still my favourite set.

Diamond Kings is great. I just opened a few boxes of the new Topps Clearly Authentic and love the design on them.

Been collecting since 1975. Don't have much anymore though. Best card ever was a '66 Mantle. Traded it for a '84 Gooden rookie in 1986. Oops.

Would buy penny Rookie Dodger cards. Wound up with 200 Piazza cards. That felt better.

Piazza autos and cards are still pretty hot in the hobby. I collect mostly Brewers, Packers, and prospects.

I still have all my cards. I used to back in 5th grade, trade like 5-6 cards for 1 rookie card. Too bad guys like Andy LaRoche, Daniel Cabrera, etc, never turned out

I used to scoop up all the cheap rookies I could find, hoping 20 years down the road I'd have the next HOFer and it'd be worth a ton. Never really panned out, though I do have some decent rookie cards.

I do a lot of prospecting. You guys should look on eBay at Aaron judge cards right now.........wow

I saw one sold last week for $25K. Pretty ridiculous for a guy in his first year, who's already looking like he's cooling off.

My buddy Kevin has an Aaron Judge 1/1 superfractor on eBay for $24999. Kris Bryant's Bowman draft 1/1 superfractor auto sold for $60000 a couple years ago. It's crazy.
