The answer isn't really easy. He's a stud if you're not at high D1. At High D1, guys like this are "commonplace". My guess is that there are 20-30 guys with similar defensive stats.
In a vacuum, the player is a + defender and an average rebounder.
If you have a 100/100 (or close to that) ATH/REB C and/or a SF or some guards that can rebound it should help.
He's very solid in a 3-2 zone if you have others to rebound with.
His speed is important (as is the speed in his paired SF) in the 2-3. If he's slow I would even consider playing him at the 5.
In man, that 100 SB becomes less important and he becomes less elite as a defender. I would trade 15 points in rebounding for 20 points in block in a heartbeat.. He's still a good defender but no longer super elite.
I wouldn't hesitate to take this type of guy on my good D1 zone teams at all. In a perfect world, I would pair him with a monster rebounder at the 5.
For a man team, IF I ONLY WANTED DEF, I would take him. If he can score a little or could pass or something else, I would take him but if he's less than 30 in LP and/or PASS he would be a 2nd/3rd level backup.
He's a great defensive player who is an adequate rebounder. If he can do anything else, I would take him. If not, then it becomes more situation dependent.
