I'm happy (and surprised) to see Alan Trammell enshrined in the Hall of Fame, along with Jack Morris. A great team player who never sought the spotlight for himself. Too bad Sweet Lou couldn't have gone in at the same time -- Trammell and Whitaker were favorites of mine in the 1980s, the decade I liked baseball most. The 1984 Tigers were quite a rarity until now: a World Series winning team with no HOF'ers (manager Sparky Anderson has been in the HOF for a few years, though).
