So....... I'm surmising the confusion results from a lack of historical perspective.

Boris finds History (nearly) useless.......... at least not worth the supporting of it's study financially worthwhile, is (I believe) his viewpoint. Thus, he may not recall that voting laws (poll taxes, tests, etc) were used to keep blacks from being able to vote for a considerable period of time in many southern states/locales. Which is where the racism and the fear of voter ID comes from, of course.

Nowadays, however, in an age wherein anyone carrying a cell phone (I do NOT!) is subject to a whole mass of folks who are able to trace every move you make (including governmental agencies, obviously) I'm not sure what the big fuss is all about over voter ID. Doesn't everyone get a little voter registration card mailed to them when they register to vote (We do in AZ) wherein it lists your name and the voting district/precinct you registered in?

Why can't either that (the voter registry card) or a valid driver's license (MOST folks have them) suffice and be required?
I don't get it really.

#1) We are on the same page.

#2) One can study history but I am not paying $200k for one to do so. Because it is not a marketable skill in this day and age.

I agree. BUT, it is the duty of the 4th Estate to make sure the American people are being informed truthfully. What Trump claims are "rumors" and lies turn out not to be----BECAUSE it is quite apparent that the liar resides in the WH. Trump has clearly demonstrated a complete disregard for truth.
He DID pay a hush payment to a porn star, even though he clearly claimed he did not. THAT is lying to me, a citizen and a voter.
I believe our POTUS SHOULD be respected, which is EXACTLY WHY I'm all over Trump........ and was all over Dog Clinton. And it isn't about the sex or the cigar or what is or isn't relations....... it's about lying to the American public.

And you're right again......... everyone is innocent until proven guilty, BUT everyone is ALSO subject to law. THIS POTUS has done everything in his power to subvert, undermine, discredit, our highest law enforcing agency because (precisely) they are investigating HIM. And as these type of investigations go, this one is still relatively short. AND, you don't KNOW Mueller has zero proof. He just hasn't made what he KNOWS public yet.

IF the POTUS did NOT collude (cheat our electoral system) with a foreign power to get elected then WHY is He so intent on calling everyone involved in the investigations, liars and Dem. operatives before the investigation even reveals it's findings???

And, NOW, he seems to have decided (based on red-light Rudy and the new defense strategy) that he can't prevail in the realm of our Courts and the LAW, so he's turning to trying to sway public opinion ahead of any impeachment movement (based on Mueller's report/findings)........

Yup, seriously illegal and an impeachment offense.

How do Trump supporters rationalize the Bezos/Amazon stuff? I guess since the fake news media is the enemy of the American people (Trump really said that), and Bezos owns one of the biggest and fakest media outlets (WaPo), everything is fair game where Bezos is concerned?

And while I'm here, how do Trump supporters rationalize this? (I love that one of the clowns involved served time on a pedo conviction in the Czech Republic.)
