He should have settled on a cool alias. Or gone by a band name, even if he was the entire "band." Would you buy a CD by a guy named Larry Manilow, or Michael Polton?

no, but I wouldn't buy a CD by guys named Barry Manilow or Michael Bolton either

I watched Tower today, a 2016 doc about the infamous sniper attack at the University of Texas in Austin in 1966. Very well done, with innovative visuals and great interviews with survivors. You'll get choked up at least a few times watching this. I liked how little focus there was on the gunman himself and so much on the people affected by his violence, many of whom acted heroically on that day.

If you've got small kids (or even if you don't!) Jack Johnson's "Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George" is a fine album.

The New Yorker reporter who torpedo'd Mooch's gig as Trump's Director of Communications (July 2017 - July 2017) just got his own gig blown up.

These articles leave a lot to the imagination. What specifically happened? No one's saying! Recently here in Toronto ex-MLB catcher Gregg Zaun was let go by the local broadcaster for similarly vague "improper conduct."

today trump announced he was canceling the next nasa project started by president obama......it was an effort to land a manned ship onto an asteroid.....instead we are going back to the moon and then mars.....mars was already in the plans....basically he traded the moon instead of the astroid.....we all know why president obama wanted nasa to land a spaceship on an asteroid....it was to be able to learn how to move an astroid away from a path towards the earth.. so the moon is more important then saving the world from annilation.....trump is not just evil.....he is an evil schmuck.

I'm happy (and surprised) to see Alan Trammell enshrined in the Hall of Fame, along with Jack Morris. A great team player who never sought the spotlight for himself. Too bad Sweet Lou couldn't have gone in at the same time -- Trammell and Whitaker were favorites of mine in the 1980s, the decade I liked baseball most. The 1984 Tigers were quite a rarity until now: a World Series winning team with no HOF'ers (manager Sparky Anderson has been in the HOF for a few years, though).
