Progressive Franchise Twist 1963-1965

#119774

To "twist" means to choose from any season of a particular player. For example, say you select the Cubs for 1963-1965, you may select any season any any player who appeared in at least one game on your teams roster for the given iteration. The player must have minimally faced one batter(pitcher) or had one AB (hitter). Use http://www.baseball-reference.com/ for team rosters for individual seasons.

*Each owner can select up to two franchises. They will be placed in separate conferences. But you may select whichever two you want, regardless of which conference they are in as far as the current MLB is formatted.

*Each season the owner who improves his/her squad the most, i.e. shows the biggest improvement over how the actual squad performed in real life, will be awarded a $10 gift certificate from administration! See forum post below available teams for more information.

coyote522 has joined with New York (NL).

I am willing to relinquish Boston as well. I simply want the league to fill.

I will take Pittsburgh as my National League option.

Again, if anyone wants the Pirates, just ask!

Thank you Arvid, for being so generous.
I will join with the Mets and lose a lot the first few seasons.
It will be a character builder.
