I'm surprised there are no takers for the Yanks, Red Sox, Giants, and Dodgers. Those franchises usually get picked early. Even without HOFs, there are plenty of great player seasons available for those franchises.

Working on my Pirates team here. Are there any year restrictions on NL teams or can we use 1885-present?

You can use any year of your franchise 1885-present.

Hey, GH, would you mind if I switch from the A's to the Browns/Orioles?

I've been toying with the idea of taking the Reds as a second team if nobody joins in the next day or so. It's not letting me select a player from the Red Stockings though, wouldn't those players be available to be drafted as well, ghsisler? It says the player is not from the specified league list.

That is an interesting one. I hadn't noticed this before, but the Reds franchise history listed in baseball reference includes the Red Stockings in the American Association. I did limit the league to NL and AL thinking all the franchises were NL and AL only, and because I know there were Philadelphia A's and Baltimore Orioles teams that were in other Leagues that are not part of the franchises with those names in this league. I hadn't realized the Reds franchise changed Leagues.

Unfortunately I don't think I can adjust that setting myself without starting over with setting up a new league. If you definitely want to sign up with the Reds and want that player I can put in a ticket and see if WIS can remove the NL and AL league restrictions.

Not a problem; I'll adjust the roster and see how it looks without the lone Red Stocking :).
