Right on Funk!! Your sentiments echo exactly how I see the league. Should start filling quickly now. One reason I chose the small league format is the hope of having unique teams. So far so good. This is the first time I've run this league and perhaps will expand to 16 teams in the future and not put a restriction on seasons. Guaranteed this will be a fun league to play in. Likely your DH will be a AAA player platoon--at least that's how I drafted.

The OL format is a solid one. I've run variations of it in the past, but this is perhaps my closest in keeping with the actual format. Notable changes are using one team (easy for me to check rosters), not allowing trades, and using the DH. It would be interesting if they began an OL in WIS that included the DH--it truly makes the AAA players very valuable. I typically attempt to dump most of those players if I can via trade.

I've always wanted a OL with DH option cwillis, actually my latest OL team has starters 1-3 all hit around .290-.300 so it was my way of going around having no DH, quality of pitcher is slightly under what I usually draft though, will see how it works out.
And yeah with your league the player search is made easy since we can select our team in search criteria.
Hoping it will fill fast this should be really cool.

Thanks Funk. I've used the good hitting pitcher strategy before and it works great. Mordecai Brown is one of my favorites. He's a switch hitter to boot. Looks like we have a white sox team and an expos team coming soon.

Batgems -- Correct, a good hitting pitcher will not hit due to the DH. I'll likely use my AAA at DH or if a AAA fields better than a drafted player I'll use flip flop. You can certainly take the Pirates. Any player from 1920-2016 but no clones. Would love to have you join. We have 4 slots left.
