And they just announced that people were running out of gas thus creating a bigger traffic jam on the interstates.
Did you miss this?
Those people didn't fill up.
Or they didn't know how much they needed.

They should have asked me. One tank. Two if you drive a car with really bad mileage.

Fair to say the people in FL don't want to talk to you any more than the people in CA.

Shocker...complete shocker that people in the south would be unable to do the basic math required to make sure you have enough gas for a road trip.

Floridians were dumb enough to ALMOST support Clinton, so no real surprise.

You've never been to Florida, have you? Old people from the north, Hispanics. Nothing "south" in Florida.

Actually, I have. Not much "south" in Miami but Orlando, Gainesville, Tallahassee, etc all feature the south prominently.

Florida is full of "cheap" northerners and rednecks

I love Florida. Great Americans. Nice weather.

Let us pray for our brothers and sisters in our Union.

Lot's of relatives and history there. Lived in Texas too. Good people. Great Americans.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN us and most of the rest of the world is how we respond to disaster.

We're better off and more resilient for a reason.

just out of curiosity, how do you fill up two tanks full on one car at the same time?

Just talked to all my peoples. They all stay. All in block house. Been through it.

Please pray for them. Thank you.

I'm assuming they have gas tanks. If there's no other gas storage available, the question of "how much gas should I get" becomes moot.

You do understand that people are moving like 5 MPH on I-95, right? Still burns fuel even when you're barely moving.
A) This seems like one of those times that you're arguing just to argue

B) I live in southern California and sit in horrendous traffic often. You aren't really burning much gas idling along at 5 mph. Like...hardly any at all (less than half a gallon per hour). A full tank will still get my truck over 400 miles in bumper to bumper traffic.

C) The traffic in Florida isn't that bad. It's not great. But, from what I'm seeing on the online traffic maps, you can get from Miami to Orlando without any problems and you can get from Orlando to Georgia (~200 miles) in less than four hours. A full tank of gas will easily last from Orlando to Georgia.
Typical BL. The expert on everything.

I just heard a report on CNN of people on the FL highways only being able to travel 100 miles in 8 hours.

But according to BL, pontificating from southern California, "the traffic in Florida isn't that bad".

Maybe you should be in Florida overseeing Irma preparations. Sounds like you have skills that nobody else has.

So those people probably only needed one tank of gas.
