Here is an idea that I think can get that diversity everyone likes!!

Here is the Idea... Only one of the these characteristics can apply to each team.

1. Have a total of 1640 Points or more
2. Have a defensive rating of 70 or more ( everyone else must be 69 or lower)
3. Have 620 or more assists
4. Have 750 or more Rebounds
5. Have 120 3PM or more

However a single player can have multiple of these characteristics.
For Example:
Wilt Chamberlain fulfills 4 out of the 5 (1, 2,3, and 4). If you use him, you can't have another player who shares those same characteristics.
Will you have the talent spread amongst the team or will you place all your faith in a superstar? Will you play the high minute players or fill your entire team will role Players! Can you really build a team?! Prove it!!!

Salary Cap is at 52 million to give you some freedom.

No Clones, No Free Agents, and No Rookies

Is having defense rating of 70 permissible for multiple players, or only one player can have defense rating of 70 or over?

you may want to recalibrate your parameters using the advanced stats or you're going to get a lot of partial seasons that subvert what seems to be your intent here

Might want to do it for all the other stats, since some may argue "over 70" does not mean "70 or higher".

Just to be clear, can you have multiple guys at 70 defense and only one higher than 70?

Actually having partial seasons is somewhat encouraged. I added the 70 or over stat to take away some of the more dominant partial seasons.

Just for consistency, sure, I do not really think one rebound and assist will make that much difference lol
