FYC S42 Just Rolled. Just One To Go! Topic

We here in FYC would love to have you on board, we have one official opening, with a maximum of three, for S42 and both teams offer pretty solid options and an opportunity to contend in the near future. If you are unfamiliar with FYC, here are some of the highlights-

The Blog: We have one of the best blogs in HBD. It ranges from predictions, interviews, and data analysis. We keep detailed league records. We even have our own Owners HOF.

Longevity: The average length for an owner in our league is approximately 15 seasons, including two who have been with us for all 41 seasons and counting.

Stability: We have a competitive league and no drama. Our private rules are clear and enforced.

The teams that are open for S42 are listed below:

Tucson Seals
S41 Record: 74-88
S42 1st Round Pick: 9th

This franchise had a little bit of a down year due to the fact that the long-time owner who was running the show passed away, but the Seals were still able to manage 74 wins in a division that has had a 1st place finisher with less than 90 wins in two of the last three years. One or two additions could put this team back in the playoff picture, with the current roster being headlined by Boone Oliver and Franmil Sosa.

Buffalo Clouds
S41 Record: 74-88
S42 1st Round Pick: 11th

The Clouds have had the same owner for the last 17 seasons, and he still may yet be back for an 18th. If he isn’t though, he left a very solid core in place for the next owner to build around. The two highest OVR on the ML team, Dick Mullen and Lou Dunn are both 29 and they’ve also got a star on the rise in Josh O'Leary and a Cooperstown-bound slugger in Cliff Zobrist.

Washington DC Monuments
S41 Record: 63-99
S42 1st Round Pick: 2nd

This is a team entering a rebuild, as they finished fourth in the division last season after back-to-back runner up campaigns. Three of their four highest ML OVR (Josh Walker, Yuniesky Prieto & Joel Helton) are 32, so a new owner could decide to ride the current roster to a second top-10 pick without having to worry too much about MWR violations, or they could start dealing and hope the in-flux roster cobbles together 50 wins. However, this is another franchise which may see its S41 owner return to the fold as well.

Great group of people here in FYC.

Ellis could be an ambassador for all of WIS. Even when he was forced to relinquish his franchise due to MWR, he still kept the FYC blog alive with amazing content.

Reading the FYC blog is truly like reading the sports page of a national newspaper during the peak of baseball season.

I can't say enough good things about Ellis, his personality, and his commitment to FYC. We are lucky to have him.

If you are getting bored with the same ol' same ol', and thinking of giving up on HBD, I would strongly recommend that you give FYC a chance. It's a completely different experience than you get with most other leagues.

Contact Ellis (bruinsfan911) to find out what I'm talking about.
