Others have won an MVP with fewer PAs than Trout has this season. Not saying he necessarily deserves it, but there is precedent.
Yah, but most of those were pitchers

Which means some were hitters.

Do you need a lesson on the difference between "most" and "all"?

I just assumed that wouldn't matter to you. After all, he misses a bunch of games and you say "So what?" Well, he missed a bunch of NL games, so what?
No, I think it's pretty easy to distinguish between the two scenarios.

Yep, I'm sure. Please hold on to that 6 point home win. I'm sure it will be the highlight of your season.

If Colorado makes it to the postseason, Arenado should get it. The guy has been a beast at third and is probably one of the top 5-10 hitters in baseball. Even BL's WAR tells us he's a top player at the plate and in the field. I really like Goldschmidt, but he's still a first basemen.
I'm getting so tired of stuff like this. Arenado is a very good player, but he's a product of Coors offensively.

2017
Home: 307 PA, .330/.386/.634, 17 HR, 72 RBI
Away: 335 PA, .281/.350/.528, 17 HR, 53 RBI

Career
Home: 1500 PA, .312/.362/.592, 83 HR, 310 RBI
Away: 1484 PA, .265/.316/.472, 62 HR, 191 RBI

Those are some stark differences. He's a great defender, and a very good hitter. But there's no way in hell he's a top 5-10 hitter in the game without Coors Field.
I'm really tired of the argument that players have some sort of unfair advantage playing in Coors Field. It's almost like they're treated as roiders.

Almost every stadium in MLB is geared towards offense. Coors Field is a sanctioned stadium by Major League Baseball.

Why isn't there an outcry against Red Sox, Phillies, Reds, and Rangers players???

There's a big difference between tailoring your swing/ABs to take advantage of a parks dimensions or quirks (like the Green Monster), and playing in a park where the atmosphere itself greatly enhances hitting. A player does not have to do anything out of the ordinary with his approach in order to take advantage of Coors Field.
The Rockies were 21st in total team homeruns this year. Any other evidence you'd like to see?

You going to make the opposite argument for Giants players that they have an unfair advantage playing at AT&T Park and their numbers are significantly diminished and we're supposed to hypothetically add statistics to adjust for home park?

Stop with the Coors Field nonsense.
10/2/2017 9:24 PM
The Astros lead the league in Runs Scored, Hits, 2B, Total Bases, RBI, BA, OBP, SLG, and OPS. They were second in Homeruns to the Yankees.

Please explain how Minute Maid Park provides Astros hitters an unfair advantage and we shouldn't take Jose Altuve's numbers seriously...

Hurry it's almost halftime!
10/2/2017 9:26 PM
Jose Altuve away from Minute Maid Park - .381/.449/.633, 13 SB, 3 CS

Nolan Arenado away from Coors Field - .283/.355/.531, 3 SB, 1 CS

With his defense, I think it's fair to say that Arenado's away line is good enough for serious MVP consideration. OTOH, I think Blackmon's away stats aren't nearly good enough to merit serious consideration.
10/2/2017 10:27 PM
Take into consideration that the Rockies play in the NL west and their road games are in 3 of the toughest hitters parks in MLB shouldn't road stats be diminished anyways?
10/2/2017 10:43 PM
To me Arenado was the most valuable to his team.
