I hate analogies but let's try one that has been used before.

A homeless guy has a $10 bill in his pocket.
A billionaire has a $20 bill in his pocket.

Which bill is more valuable?

The $20. It's always more valuable than the $10, no matter what.
You're swimming in a river. You're thirsty. I hand you a glass of water.
You're crawling across a desert. You're thirsty. I hand you a glass of water.

Do you value that glass of water the same?

I'm dying of thirst in the desert. You have a small canteen full of water and a large canteen full of water. Is the small canteen ever more valuable?

You hit a three run home run in the bottom of the 8th with your team leading 10-0.

I hit a three run home run in the bottom of the 8th with my team losing 2-0.

Which home run has more value?

Which home run has more value?
Both home runs are worth 3 runs. In either situation would you rather have a solo home run? No. Exactly. 3 run homers are always more valuable than solo homers.

Do you intend to answer every question with a question when the answer is obvious?

Nevermind. Of course you will. It's what you do when you're wrong.

Jeez dude. There isn't just one glass of water in this twisted analogy. There are 750ish glasses of water. You certainly wouldn't argue that a small one is the most valuable glass.

There is one glass. Can't you read? Or is comprehension a problem?

"I hand you a glass of water."

The $10 might be worth more to the homeless guy than the $20 to the billionaire, but the $20 is still more valuable. The homeless guy would trade bills every time.
Let's play off of this example.

Which is more valuable? The two run walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth that turns a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 victory, or the grand slam in the top of the ninth that turns a 10-0 lead into a 14-0 lead?

But it doesn't work in this context. If you're picking a most valuable water glass and there's only one glass, that glass wins every time because there are no other glasses to get votes.

Both homers have the same value.
So they have the same worth (3 runs) and they have the same value (3 runs)?

Worth = value?

Now that I've answered your question 3 times, is there ever a situation where you would rather have a two run homer instead of a grand slam?

Yes. In the example in this post, dumbass.

That's weird, you'd rather have a two run homer than a grand slam in a one-run game???
