In Upper Deck, we will begin our World Series in the next couple of days and are hoping to find owners who will fill our opening(s) prior to roll. Here are a few reasons why you should join us:

1. We have a balanced league. Over the past seven seasons, five separate franchises have won the World Series. Additionally, only one team reached 100 wins in season 27.

2. We have a solid group of experienced core owners that return each season. For the fifth time in six seasons, we will be returning at least 28 of our 32 owners for season 27. We will be returning at least 30 owners this season and would prefer owners that are open to multi-year commitments should they enjoy the season in Upper Deck.

3. We feature a fun, relaxed atmosphere for experienced and new GMs alike. We also have some very limited rules designed to enhance the competition and fairness.

Private rules:
1.) The minimum win rule. Each team needs to hit this winning % benchmark in order to keep their team. Winning % requirement for 1 season: >.320 (52 wins), 2 consecutive seasons: > .360(117 w), 3 consecutive seasons: > .375(183 w).
2.) Banned extreme ballparks like Colorado, Tacoma, Burlington and Santa Fe

We will roll soon, and have only ONE confirmed opening, though we may have a second opening. The team(s) that will/may become available within the next few days are listed below with some pertinent information.

AL North

This franchise is only two seasons removed from a World Series championship, but has been rebuilding under veteran leadership and will have the 7th overall pick in next season's amateur draft. This club may be available.

NL North

The club rebounded this season after three consecutive losing seasons, but missed out on the postseason by three games. Players such as Cy Young candidate SP Sam Murray and young CF Enerio de los Santos offer cornerstones around which you can build this franchise, which will pick 16th in next season's amateur draft. This club will become available.
