Ghost in the Latrine: Season 3 (WAITLIST) Topic

There are literally hundreds of viable options available. Last time around I was tempted to go with C Keith McDonald, who played for the 2000 and 2001 Cardinals. McDonald is the only player in MLB history to have recorded 3 hits in his career, all of them being HRs! The guy had a 1.714 SLG% in 2000! Surely there's someone out there that would like to give him the chance for glory that he truly deserves!

There's nothing prohibiting someone from having two teams in this league. I'd simply ask that you try to make sure that you pick your second team in a manner that guarantees your teams will be in separate leagues (AL/NL). Alignment is chronological this season. Since you have already selected a team from 1948, you should be in the clear if your second team is from the 2000s.

I'll probably take a second team, too. But since my first team is from 1974, I'm not yet sure where my team will fall in the AL/NL split. So I'll likely take the 24th team to close out the league.

Welcome! I seriously considered selecting Falkenborg and the 2006 Cardinals.

I can't wait for a fresh ghost. Have full flexibility with my positions this year - my best ghost is getting the call up!

My ghost is going to be an infielder, so I could make my cup of coffee be Bud Bloomfield, instead of Corky Withrow. But I like Corky's name better, if nobody minds that he was an outfielder.

And speaking of Ozzie Canseco: What brother combo smacked 462 MLB home runs? The answer: Jose Canseco 462, Ozzie Canseco 0. But I always thought Ozzie was the better looking of the two.

I think this is a pretty safe second team to take chronologically...

Eddie Pye - 1995 LA Dodgers

I'm going to go ahead and put myself down for a second team (TBD). I've got two ghosts/teams in mind, one from the 1950s and one from the late 1990s, so I will just make my selection once it becomes clear which league my Herb Washington (1974 A's) team will fall in.

Oswaldo Navarro, SS, Seattle Mariners 2006

whens the league # coming out?

I've got a busy weekend ahead of me. I'll most likely be setting up the league on Monday. Tuesday at the latest.
