Looked for late sign, SIMAI as top dog. While I'm sure anyone who responds will say "He sucks", I'll respond with "Best big man on my team now". I'm going to run zone so I think he can contribute all 4 seasons. Green in LP/PER/BH. Yellow in SPD/SB/Passing. Black everywhere else.

Have another opening but I haven't find anyone I want for 4 seasons yet.

Just my two cents...If you're goal is to make the NT and eventually move to a big 6 school you'll have a much better chance making the NT running man or press than you will zone.

heh, I would say the exact opposite

Zone lends itself so much better to one stud a class and a couple role players and walkons than the other two.

My first goal is to simply win a NT game at UNC Asheville. I assume I'll be using scraps that the big boys don't want, like Tebo, and it's easier to use flawed players in zone.

Haven't determined my second goal yet.

The current roster is essentially useless. Simmy signed 2 guys that don't look like help. I have 4 JR next season and will have full opportunity to recruit. In a conference with 1 other human so I don't expect my RPI to ever be good. Maybe I can make NT 3rd-4th season. Who knows when I can steal a NT game as a double digit seed?

Could be. No idea how many are in D1 Rupp but I guess 130ish. I'm sure many are in the same/similar position as me. May take a season or two to find the "sweet spot" in recruiting as the ACC/SEC are pretty full. But I know I'm not competing against them "on the court" or "recruit trail". I gotta beat the C/D schools and, hopefully, get a 12th seed upset running slowdown O and zone.

Well, that's the plan. But Mike Tyson said "Everyone has a plan til they get hit in the face." Maybe I'll get hit in the face next season.

I'll add that there were several guys were signed by D/D- humans that I didn't want. So I may have to adjust my expectations.

No idea if Rupp has the most human coaches but I guess it's near the top.

Most are in the 110-125 range I think

But at least there aren't many pesky D2s. Isn't that down to like 50?

Go to RPI by school, click on D2, click twice to sort by coach name, then click "show more" at the bottom.

123 D1, 61 D2 unless I f'd it up.

Recruiting ends at 11 PM. There is NO ONE I want for 4 seasons.
