40 mil a year...it's a respectable trait these days to show some loyalty. Maybe the days of the dollar over the W are not dead after all. I miss the Allen Iverson's and the Paul Pierce's of the 90s, who only wanted dollars and personal glory. I miss the days players generally hated each other. I'd rather see a player show loyalty to the team that drafted him and make some dollars and have to cheat a bit if needed, as opposed to teaming up with a group of guys he should hate and instead is sharing shots with. Give me a break! Propz to Russ!

It doesn't seem like a bad option. This should be an interesting NBA season. Looking forward to seeing how these 2 guys play alongside one another.

It's a bad option, we have seen this movie before. Russ will take the game in his hands and lose it no matter how hot PG is shooting. Add Melo to mix and it is a no brainer, go piggy back someone else for a ship PG.

I used to hate on Westbrook a bit but he's got something Durant does not have. A killers instinct. He isn't afraid to miss. I think Paul George fits better next to Russ then KD and Melo showed he was able to play great team basketball during the Olympics. Melo is feeling happy about playing basketball again and he's waking up excited knowing he's the 3rd option. PG13 is playing for a contract. Everyone seems to be on the same page and OKC has a buzz.

I'd much rather have KD on my team than Westbrook. He's better individually and a better team player.
