I don't think Sanchez is that cute. Lindor on the other hand...

How many people here have worked for a web development company and/or done web development QA? I suspect the number is >0

Search for "Sánchez" with an accent, and lo and behold, 2017 Gary Sanchez comes up.

Search for "Sanchez" and he isn't there.
I wouldn't know how to add an accent mark
I do it by googling Gary Sanchez, then copying his accented name from the search results. ;)
Well at least you found a work around. Thanks for the idea

So did anybody send a ticket to fix this? This is incredibly dumb. Search Nick Castellanos, his 2017 year is not there. Search 2017 Tigers, he shows up, as Nick Castellanos. No accents, no hyphens, no nothing. Search “N” in first name and “C” in last name, HE STILL DOESNT SHOW UP! How could seble **** this up so badly?

Unfortunately my keyboard, which is Italian, has the accent going the other way as in Italian words like città, or pappà. So I can't turn the accent around to be acute either.

Probably this was well-meaning: they wanted to get accurate spelling of Latin surnames, only to have the unintended consequence be excluding many Latino players from us being able to actually bring up their records in the Draft Center. We do need to get the new administration to realize this is an issue.

I submitted a ticket three weeks ago; was told they were looking into this. I'll bump it to make sure they haven't forgotten.

searching *n* in first name WITHOUT using *c* for last name brought him up.

What I did when searching for Gary Sanchez was find his 2016 season, then click on his 2016 season link...and in the drop down, that included his 2017 season.

I need all this fixed...This is ridiculous.
