We all know the Cleveland Browns are terrible and I'm starting to think there is some sort of curse on this team. Head coach Hugh Jackson is now 1-20 in his 1.25 seasons with Cleveland.
I was researching draft history to see how many terrible draft picks they've made, and specifically which QB's they've passed on since they re-entered the league in 1999. We all know they could've had Donovan McNabb, Duante Culpepper, Ben Roethlisberger, and Aaron Rodgers, just to name a few, but the other players they've passed on is astounding!
In the 2014 draft, every 1st round pick is still in the league, except both of the Browns picks, Justin Gilbert #8 and Johnny Manziel #22 overall. In just three years, both 1st round picks are out of the league. They could've had Derrek Carr instead of Manziel, but I digress.
2016 first round pick, WR Corey Coleman, is currently on IR and not expected to return until November 19. If they really wanted a WR in that draft, they could've drafted Will Fuller.
Looking ahead to the remaining 2017 schedule, there is not a winnable game, unless the catch the Chargers or Bengals napping.
Looks like we have our second 0-16 team on our hands! Is there any hope for Browns fans???
