Like the subject says.
"100 Greatest NHL Players
The 100 Greatest NHL Players is a centerpiece in honoring 100 years of NHL hockey. A Blue Ribbon panel comprised of distinguished members of the hockey community - including executives, media members and NHL alumni - selected the list of esteemed players.
The first 33, who played played predominantly during the NHL's first half century, from 1917-1966, were named on Jan. 1 at the Centennial Classic in Toronto. The remaining 67, who played predominantly from 1967-present, were introduced at NHL100 on Jan. 27 in Los Angeles.
Why dont we do this?
Pick 23 players from this list of 100. The NHL named the first 33 (so 33%) which represented players who played between 1917-1966 and the following 67 (so, you guessed it, 67%) representing players who played between 1967 to date. We can do the same thing.
Pick 8 players from 1917 to 1966
Pick 15 players from 1967 to present.
120K, max 2 injuries blah blah blah. No ww or trades.
