After he got vilified yesterday morning, he took the ball and did the job in a major way last night. What a performance!
After he publicly said he wasn't sure he would ever be comfortable with getting shelved several years ago, to refuse to take the ball with his team's back against the wall yesterday would have been ridiculous.
I'm rooting for the Cubs but glad to see this young man rise to the occasion and establish himself as a premier arm in today's game.
