I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I THINK he's saying he was born into a Jewish family (heritage) but now follows some Christian faith. Just a guess.
Also, I'm not claiming that non citizens enjoy our constitutional rights............. until they LIVE here and abide our laws. Even then (when in violation) they still enjoy the rules of our (hopefully, it isn't always!) fair judicial system. I was just trying to explain that anyone already HERE has the right to believe in Islam if they choose, even IF Boris doesn't like it.

I don't think you have any choice. In the USA we have basic freedoms for all. It includes the freedom to worship as you please. It ALSO includes living the way of life you choose (as long as you don't violate our laws). Your ONLY choice, as I understand it, is to somehow try to separate yourselves from those you fear.
