So, what I wanna know is how did Salamander know whether I was objectifying?? For the record I may NOT have been.
In fact I weren't at all. Wonderwear is for those women that NEED them.......... for whatever reason.......... almost all of which I don't even want to muse on.........

I prefer women that don't NEED wonderwear........ those that CHOOSE to wear panties only when they go out in public.

this country figured out progressive is fair eons ago.
with a flat tax and no deductions you either literally kill the poor by taxing them into oblivion or you have no tax for anyone and get same result kill the poor.

I would imagine you're talking about those with more $. If they spend $100,000 on luxuries and pay $40,000 in taxes, isn't that "soaking" them compared to the person who spends $25,000 on luxuries and pays $10,000 in taxes? That's 4 times as much in taxes. If they spend $500,000 and pay $200,000 in taxes, it would be 20 times as much. (I've explained I favor a flat luxury sales tax over any income tax many times, so that's the example I used.) EVERYBODY pays the same rate, but those with more luxury spending pay (much) more. Been waiting to hear something "fairer" than that for over 35 years. Certainly wouldn't expect to hear anything from this group other than "Take it from the rich, they can afford it.", which is total BS (and this is from a guy who's household income is well under $100,000). Honestly don't see how anyone can see different tax rates (with ALL loopholes eliminated) for different people as "fair". That's incomism.

I hate to do it but I have to say I agree with all3 here. If everyone pays a flat rate of say 15% of their household income, with no available loopholes or deductions, how is that unfair? If my household makes $75,000 a year we would pay $11,250 in taxes. If your household makes $750,000 a year, you would pay $112,500 . What is unfair about that?

I actually wouldn't necessarily classify that system as unfair. I would say it's inefficient. And I would argue that a non-flat income tax is just as fair.
