The administration promised a few weeks ago that 20 million Americans would be vaccinated by the end of the year, which is the day after tomorrow.

As of today the official CDC tally of people who have received the first dose of either the Pfizer or the Moderna vaccine is 2.1 million.

Now this tally is low because of reporting lags, but as of today only 11 million doses of the two vaccines have even been distributed, so even if you make the wildly optimistic assumption that all those doses will have been administered by Thursday, that’s still missing the promised distribution level by nearly 50%.

The situation is so bad that Joe Biden is upbraiding Trump for this failure, while Trump himself doesn’t seem to be paying the slightest attention to the biggest public health crisis in modern American history. Instead he’s currently obsessing over Melania’s interior decorating choices.

A federal judge in Georgia has blocked two counties from purging its voter rolls of roughly 4,000 allegedly inactive voters ahead of the next week’s runoff elections for U.S. Senate.

U.S. District Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner, who is the sister of Democratic voting rights activist Stacy Abrams, handed down the ruling after rebuffing a request that she recuse herself from the case.

Why would ANYONE object to a block of "alleged" inactive voters being purged from the voting rolls days before an election.................

UNLESS you don't want any of those so-called "allegedly inactive" voters to be active and VOTE.
Trying to stop voters from being able to vote even IF they've been inactive is a completely Un-American desire and shameful for a Party to espouse as a strategy to try and RIG elections!!!

Was her sister directly involved as a party?
you did not think through this.
there was not a scintilla of conflict of interest.
in actuality.
no monetary interest .
just a possible mutuality of philosophy.

It would be similar to saying that the wife of son of a Mitch cannot be in the trump cabinet.

And Stacy Abrams is not even an elected official or in government.
she is an activist.
