It's time for BoR to Raise it's ugly head & start up Again, the HUGE gap that was created due to this leagues elimination needs to be plastered shut! The BoR needs to Live... Breath... & Aerobicize Again!!!?

I'm in. I miss it as well.

BoR - was a league that was 120m cap with 6/4 AAA no big deal... The BoR part was just concerning the team names. Quote, "Name your team after your favorite Babe, No Pornstars, No ugly Babes (Phillis Diller) (except for the during the Halloween season, when it was reversed) No Babes that were former, or born a Man". That's IT.

The league ran for something like 80 consecutive seasons, until last October...

A couple of owners (during the Halloween season in question, the reverse season) tried to use Hillary Clinton as an ie. (sic) UGLY Woman. Who knows weather they we're Joking or Serious. This was, remember, right the middle of the Presidential campaign, Before the election? Well, some owners went NUTS!!!! DavidBell, the Commish, Tried to stay out of the Fight, remain neutral. Some owners sent him Private sitemails that were WAY too personal, degrading Him for trying to stay OUT of the argument? I have no idea what was said, cuz davidbell was too smart to elaborate. He was in WIS for a LONG time, he ran a great, fair, fun league for 80 seasons. The complainers pushed him too hard, SO..
he QUIT WIS, Never to return, unless he reinvented himself with a NEW owner name?

We need a League like that to come BACK from the netherworld & be Reinvented, along with the - "Battle of the Bands", "TV Dinners", "Academy Awards", "Pick Six", "3x8+1", "Comedy Central", etc., The old leagues that were FUN... That dont exist anymore, for some reason??? Seams like we don't have too many "Creative" leagues anymore, what's the deal?!

I enjoy being in leagues where everyone is encouraged/required to rename their AAA players around a particular theme. I've been in a couple of those (a Star Wars themed league and a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal theme) in the not so distant past. It's sometimes a challenge, however, to pick a theme that is going to interest 24 owners. I might jump at a chance to be in a league themed around 1980s and '90s pro wrestling because I'm a little fanatical about the Hulk Hogan-Randy Savage era of the WWF. But set up the same league with the same cap/same rules except make the theme Harry Potter and I'd never give it a second look because I've never seen any of those movies or read any of those books.

Would it be proper for me to name my team after Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones? Or should I use the name of the actress who plays her? (Emilia Clarke)

Also what about Betty Rubble or Daphne from Scooby Doo? They're cartoons, but they're also pretty hot. Are they fair game?

Please use the Woman, not the role she played (unless her Identity is unknown?) & cartoons are not Real women... Jessica Rabbit is not real, although most of us have probably had Dreams about her (maybe)?
