Modern Baseball Era Ballot Topic

New veteran's committee will meet next month to elect candidates from a pretty impressive ballot.

Who would get your vote?

Personally, I think Steve Garvey, Don Mattingly, and Marvin Miller deserve induction. Really every candidate has a good case!

Simmons has a really good case as catcher seems to be a neglected position. Hell, Rudy York isn't even in the HOF!!

They can't induct Trammell without Whitaker. That'd be like inducting Starsky without Hutch.

I'm opening the Hall of Really Good in Oneonta.

Its pretty close to Cooperstown, but its not quite Cooperstown so it needs its own title.

Interesting that the BBWAA announcement is pushed back until January 24, 2018. I can't wait that long!!

Trammel was in no way a HOFer. I'd vote for Edgar Martinez before I'd vote for that him.

Marvin Miller

So somehow in your mind fame = greatness?

Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are famous. So very good comes in somewhere below them?

His only season that jumps out is 1987 which was an over inflated stat year. Heck, Larry Sheets hit 34 bombs in '87!
