Sorry guys...I'm trying to learn more about this game. So if in my playbook I have the blitz % set to 0, but in my formation I have a LB's assignment set to "line"...he is still playing up on the line looking for a run, and then blitzing if it is a passing play correct?

He is playing on the line no matter what your tendency is. If you wanted the above situation you would need to make a second formation where he is blitzing and use that against passing situations.

so playing on the line doesn't mean he is blitzing?

He is going for the QB, yes. He just starts on the line vs actually coming from the 2nd level.
