Good luck, ya'll gonna need it.
We need to get a Rocky Mountain vs Heartland non conf challenge going.
Hey, we def should have our elites face off in a couple matchups every year. My issue with playing 5-8 elite teams outside of conf year n year out is it can really get hard (at times depending on conf strength and depth) to get a top 20-40 team in the NT with the win count down. My up years I always schedule a couple more tough ones. I used to schedule anyone non conf until myself and other conf mates have been bitten by it.

Yup I think we will do it after next season. So after this season we'll do the scheduling right away.

What are thoughts about how to make the matchups? We could just do a RNG thing or we can do match up based upon previous season's result's in conference.

I am definitely in for a Heartland-Rocky Mountain Challenge next year. I think we could do it a couple different ways.

1. We could just use RPI of the previous year and have the highest in each conference play each other and so forth till worst RPI.

2. Each conference could create their own "rankings" or assign someone to do so of their respective teams and then once again, we could match up the #1's vs each other and so on.

Was the thinking that this would be a 1 game each year thing similar to the Big Ten/ACC challenge in which the winner is the conference that won more of the 12 match-ups or would we do multiple games each year?

I’m a lot more interested if it is just one game per year. Your guys’ fans are obnouxious, and the away locker rooms are horrendous. I understand your schools don’t value basketball much but can you at least turn the heat on a little? It’s Winter for goodness sake.

I agree with the one game. I don't want my boys taking too many trips out to Colorado and have them all come back as lazy stoners.

Its actually a pretty easy recruiting effort; dont even need Rick Pitino to do it right

Honestly it's mainly the panhandle. We can smell that town a few miles out.

The OPSU Men's Rodeo Team won national titles in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2004, and 2013. We also have competitive teams in Crop and Livestock judging.

As a kid from the suburbs, I am fascinated by this. All of it. The Rodeo team gets special housing for their animals as part of the scholarship program.

As a kid from the suburbs too, I also find this remarkably awesome. I change my mind, I'd like to visit OPSU as much as possible. Thanks for explaining the smell - we apologize for thinking it was just dirty students.
