I don't feel that badly about the 1st round skips. BOTH north and jbar SM'd me and said they were ready to draft. I sent two sitemails with the schedule on it, both stating that we would be starting "on the clock" on Friday. At some point, it is out of my hands and up to the owners, so there should NOT be any gripes.

There’s a lot of talent on the board. But before we have 2 skips, I’d prefer that you make the picks for those teams.

I really hate to do that uptown, because they may hate my picks, and then if we give them the option to change them, then owners miss out on the two they are throwing back in the interim. If they both have not made up their 1st round picks by the time they are up in the 2nd, I will do so though.

By the way, it was pointed out to me that on the rules page, it says 2016 players. It SHOULD read 2017 players. The 2017 crop of players IS eligible to be used!

jbar told me he is travelling, and that is why he didn't make his pick on time. I just told him, and I will tell the rest of you....if it helps, you can text me at 585-738-7537 or you can try to call. Ask me if so and so has been taken. Send a proxy list via text, whatever. I just want to be as available as possible to help everyone draft the best possible team and avoid missing their pick time. Sending proxy lists is always welcome too.

I usually sleep from 1 am to 10 or so am Denver time, or 3 am to noon eastern time, so you may not get me answering between those times.
