With needs at almost every position, this recruiting cycle will be a very important one for NCCU! And, a big welcome to lsteenberg over at conference rival and defending national champion Virginian State. It will be interesting to see what he does with the team!

North Alabama Season 138 Prediction - Back to reality for the Lions after last seasons NC Final appearance due to the loss of 17 Seniors, including starting QB & WR's, plus the heart the defensive line and with only 8 Seniors going into next season. It also it looks like I might have over reached on my non-conference games with 4 of 5 games being against coached teams it suggests it could be a long hard slog to even make the playoffs?

Question from a newb. I sent out my AC and HC scout visits right off the bat and have yet to get any scout reports. What gives?

It takes 24 hours. When recruiting starts there is 24 hours of nothing. After the 24 hour wait the fun begins and you will start to hear from the players (every 3 hours).

Thanks. I just figured I would have gotten at least a handful of scout reports after the first 24hrs. Nada yet.

Man, recruiting in this stacked world is a different kind of challenge! We all have to settle for more avg players instead of a few top programs loading up on top 5 recruits/position all across the board. I'm loving the new challenges

Ditto, big challenge just to fill.

As for season 138 I think West Liberty could surprise a few teams. I feel like I had a decent recruit, only needed 7 though. I only have 9 SR's again, we may still be a season away. OL is my weakest area.
This coming season will be my last of all SG, switching to a mix of SG/Trips in the future with a leaning towards Trips. I've been practicing Trips since I started at WLSC so other than the need to recruit another RB or two for season 139 I am ready. Just not happy with the production you get from an all pass SG O at all.

You caved already ? I was looking forward to the season to season view of our two offenses for comparison.

Yep dj, caving on this offense. LOL
I just accepted the game, so we are on for next season. I'm not abbandoning SG, but just gotta try to shake things up and hopefully score a few more points in the future.
