It's ba-ack!!! The most fun league on WIS!!! Waiver Wire 34, 70 Below! Rules are pretty simple for this version gang. The main rule is that ALL players must have a defense rating of 70 or less. The rest:
- begin by drafting all players costing $165,000. You are allowed two wild card players to begin with, one being a forward and the other a defenseman, any salary. They must adhere to the 70 max defense rule
- maximum salary for all goaltenders for the entire season is $165,000.
- after the first game has been simmed, you may begin by claiming one player off the waiver wire per calendar day (we use WIS time for all transactions). If you do not claim a player on one day, you may not make two claims the next day. If you accidently claim two players in one day, both players claimed must be waived and you can make a claim the next day. If you claim an ineligible player, he must be waived and you may make a claim the next calendar day.
- two days prior to the transaction deadline begins the multi-claiming period. You may make as many or as few trasactions as you would like.
- $100 million cap
- below average ml'ers, no trades, relaxed rosters, maximum out is 5.
There is a ton of strategy to this league. Do you claim a good player in the morning, or do you let him go hoping a better player comes along? Hopefully with the d limits and goalie limits, we will see some scoring here as well.
