Sanders is 97% at SF..so, hes not defending 'just 1position'. Shaq can't guard the PF, so drafting a quality defender/rebounder at that position is a must. There aren't very many guys in the 4th who fit that description - and even fewer that can play/defend the SF as well- which is also a priority of mine... with Sanders, i can now draft a lesser defender to play the SF- which wouldnt be wise wothout him....There' no player in the database with sanders D, reb, and efficiency at all 3 front court positions- at an affordable price & available in the 4th.... I have certainly gathered that the other owners think Sanders is a bum.. and that's great!!! I think I've made 3 conference finals with him on my roster in this league, including a championship and a finals loss.... I'l keep drafting him and winning every single season of u guys let me..... thanks for thinking he's not good enough.
I somehow missed that he was 97% at SF. That makes him better! I still don't think he is a great fit for your team, but he is a better one than I thought. As long as you like him that is all that matters. The stuff on the front page is supposed to be for fun. Don't take it personal, try and prove me wrong.

"After Round 5: I don't know what the plan with the Connie pick is. Maybe you let Love defend 3s and then just eat the penalty? Either it is a 8-10 point penalty or you use the crappy 11-12 Love. Also, do you spend money on the good Connie seasons with more usage or go with the okay low usage season? I am assuming the low usage season since it his best defending season but that one is pretty light on the boards. I do like that that version can defend all 5 positions at a high level."

I gave you the season I am using with Hawkins. appreciate it if you wouldn't include me in your evals, bro. have a rest. focus on others. peace

Yeah that got posted after I put the evals up. It was the season I made the assumption you were using. That is the right season of Connie I think. How did you arrive on that Kareem season?

I realized I'll probably always look at vancem's teams through rose colored glasses since he is fellow #ripcity resident.

I'm gonna get to 368 3PM, so don't worry about that, robusk. The important thing is my team is straight up nasty. Come get some.

Thanks for the great evals and analysis robusk. Yes I am a #ripcity native and a huge blazer fan etc.

I just like to talk a little junk--- certainly nothing personal.. I can seem a little heated in my junk talking- but it's all in fun. Trust me.

Hahaha. I love it. Bring it son!

How many minutes do you think you will get in? Are you going to have to use a cheaper Rodman season?

Pointfwd After Round 2: I think pointfwd is right on the line. I think Gilmore went a handful of picks too early and Hardaway went a handful of picks too late. Hardaway should always be a first rounder and does everything you want. Gilmore is like the other elite defender/rebounders but I think he is too expensive and turns it over too much for where he was selected.

After Round 5: Paul George got drafted! First time in the 6 seasons I use for my dataset. George, Hardaway, Gasol and Gilmore… that is a lot of usage points and I imagine it is going to be an expensive team. Good defense, rebounding, enough threes, probably enough passing. The team passes the smell test but I think the final team construction will be tricky.
Gilmore, Artis 20
Hardaway, Anfernee 29
Grant, Horace 68
Gasol, Pau 77
George, Paul 101

You nailed this one! I am looking at 19300 mins if im lucky. No bench, but some strong starters. I think Penny and PG make a nice combo and hopefully keep artis from turning it over too much.
PG took almost 600 3's in another league for me, so the team has balance. When my starters foul out Im screwed though.

I'l be starting Patrick Beverly at SG at 97% efficiency. That @$$#013 Midge stole Christie from me! Midge, you could have just let him go undrafted as usual and used that pick for an awesome bench player, ya know!!! Then, we both could be using him :-) just messing with you. I actually don't mind the switch to Beverly. The rebs% are nice. And I really like the bench behind him.

The Michael Smith pick was a good one.

There were a number of players who went late or not at all last season who I wanted. All it takes is one person to take your guy and screw up your plan.
