Congratulations to the0nlyis who won a championship in Phelan with Sacramento State. This is the first time, since I started playing in 2009 that a low baseline D1 team has won a championship. The challenge with that type of team is that it is difficult to keep a high prestige. Even after the championship, the team is an "A" prestige. And often, you are in a conference without many humans, so it is difficult to keep a high RPI. Great accomplishment!

Great coach who you will never see on the forums because of his tirades and eventual forum banishment.

He totally understood the flaws of 2.0 and campaigned in BETA for Seble to make changes, but unfortunately 2.0 was rushed out as is. He has about 3 IDs (at least 2) that are playing now and his teams are dominating at every level. So he has taken lemons and made his lemonade.

I will sitemail him and see if his thoughts have changed on 2.0 yet.

I just took Binghamton, one of my Alma Maters to try to do it as well - rats, but maybe we can be the second team to do it. Nice to see the smaller schools have a chance with a great coach.

Well the Student some days outperforms the Master...
