Does patience rating anything to do with how quickly a FA will sign? I lead on a guy for almost 10 days before he signed.. His patience rating is 6.

Not to my knowledge. Patience only applies to whether a player will resign and whether he takes a ratings hit for actions the GM takes that he doesn't like.
