Is it actually possible to win the NT while using a 9 man rotation?

Absolutely. Seen it with zone multiple times.

I modified the question; forgot there was 9. I switched things up with my South Dakota team where the majority of the minutes are taken by 6 guys, just unsure if it’s possible to go far in the NT without depth.

Yup.
But not
With that south Dakota team.

79 ATH; 87 DEF and 86 STA between the 5 seniors.. I must be delusional.

Your team is pretty slow and the rebounding is average at best. I do like the SF, I think he covers for the poor rebounding at the 4 pretty well though.

I would suspect you'll have problems against good flex or fb/press teams because of TO's and 3 point shooting. A good 2-3 team is gonna give you fits on the boards. I think you match up well against man teams and/or teams that don't rely on lots of outside shooting. As long as you don't hit a well constructed balanced team (not in man) or different one trick pony team you should win 2-3 games.

Totally agree; I just couldn’t find another rebounder. I find that you usually have to sacrifice ATH and DEF to get a guy over 85. I opted for Rasmussen when I had the chance, he was too hard to pass up as as Juco.

I got three guys with REB>80 and ATH+DE>170 in 2 years at NW Naz. It's not too hard.

first round beatdown to a team running 5 players @ 25+ minutes uptempo. I just learned a big lesson on the power of stamina.

Stamina is fun to have.
