Let's look at RPI instead of record because it actually matters. Other than Darnoc (who is on a different level than both of us), Wentzel has the highest RPI in 78 seasons. Do you understand how hard it is to have a team Top 50 in the PI with one real upperclassmen in Illinois when the big ten is that good?

Back to this. Tough world or not, none of the above is my goal.

I want to win a NT game. I can be a 5 seed or a 15 seed. Don't care. The team you're showing me hasn't won a NT game in over 20 seasons. My hope is to not have this discussion in 2021.

Coach, I know you're the head coach and all, but I'm curious as to why we run Flex in games when we don't practice it? I told you to run FB/Press or Motion/M2M. Are you stupid?

I'm running a little experiment at UNC Asheville since I'm changing D. I have 3 FR.

Tebo Offense-F Defense-D 3.11 GPA, 63 WE
Bonds Both-F 3.27 GPA, 81 WE
Buie Both-F 3.09 GPA, 47 WE

22 minutes in O, 25 in D. Tebo will start, Buie will get plenty of PT, Bonds won't play much.

Theoretically, with around an extra 95-100m of practice, one would think they players would improve just a little more in D(with the possible exception of Tebo as he starts higher).

Gonna try to update every 10 practices or so.

OK, after 5 practices(2 ex, 3 non-con), here we are:
Tebo: Off-D, Def-C-
Bonds: Off-D+, Def-D+
Buie: Off-D, Def-D

First indication that the 3 extra minutes of D practice are making a difference:
Tebo: Off-D+. Def-C-
Bonds: Off-D+, Def-C-
Buie: Off-D+, Def-D-+

4 in a row.

I'm sure this is old news to vets but, one game/practice later, Bonds is now C- in offense. 8 games(2 ex, 6 non-con). No change with the other two.

Not sure if that's serious or sarcasm but, for me, it's informative. I've read that 25m is overkill, or diminishing returns, but with 154/175, O/D, Bonds had improved more in D IQ. Now, with 176/200, he's back to the same. So, somewhere between 155-175, the 1/3 IQ bump occurred.

6-2. Judging from RPI/SOS of my future opponents, looks like I have a chance to win 20 and finish with a RPI damn near 200.

I know people complain about RS2 when taking a new team but is there a legit reason why non-cons have to be scheduled before takeover?

I had the same thought about non-con scheduling last week, and came up with a simple solution. Unfortunately, since there's no "HD Suggestions" forum, plus the fact that WIS does not appear to be making changes to the game at this time, I kept it to myself.

But since you opened that door:

1) Keep NC scheduling open through the end of RS2. I can see no reason why that shouldn't happen.

2) If a human issues a NC request to a SIMAI team prior to the job change period, it does not get automatically accepted. It stays pending, just as if it were issued to another human. If the SIMAI team is still run by SIMAI after the job change period ends, then it gets automatically accepted. But if a human takes over the school, he now has the option to decline and try to set his own schedule.

3) Unfilled NC slots are randomly filled at season rollover, just as they are today.

Any flaws in this suggestion?

None that I see.
