He finished the season with 171 rebounds. If he improves that total by 10% each season, he'll be in the upper 700s for his career which will put him in the Top 10 in school history. Record is 861. As I said when I signed him in RS2, he's nothing special but he's considerably better quality over what UNC-A is used to getting. Still green in LP and PER so I expect he'll score more in the coming seasons as well.

First FR is a walk-on so he's gone. I've filled 4 spots, SG with promised starts/minutes(probably play PG if I don't find another PG), an inel SF with promised starts/min(hoping he smartens up), a back-up SF in case the inel SF stays dumb and a back-up PF who is more of a project with green 64 D/41 LP. That leaves one schollie open.

Even though the FR PF is assigned to me/recruited by SIM, he's getting cut. I'll take a walk-on so I'll have the resources next season. I also intend to cut the 563 SO SG. He played 13.7 MPG and was 5th on team scoring but he's a bit of a turd. 27 passing from a guard produced more than twice as many TO as assists. I can't deal with that. That opens up 3 scholarships.

Now it gets complicated for me. 3 guards, 2 SF(possibly 1) and 4 big men. I essentially played 10 all season(the 11th got 14m, 1 REB, 1 ASST and nothing else). I want to cut the JR C but feel like I need 4 C/PF in my 3-2 zone to avoid fatigue. If the SF stays inel, or goes JUCO, I'm working with 7 rostered players going into RS2 if I cut the JR C. Getting a G, SF and C/PF in the second session seems damn near impossible as I'm leading on no one after RS1.

I think I've convince myself to cut the JR C. That will give me 80 AP to start the 2nd session. I shouldn't get shut out but, if I do, the 7 scholarship guys(assuming the inel doesn't meet requirements) damn sure won't ***** about playing time.

What kind of stats did you see from the SO PF? He looks solid for the most part, but I've never had a player with 1 passing before.

Turnover machine and a black hole. 2 TO per game, 2 assists all season. Which brought his career assists to 3. But he was a solid rebounder and proficient scorer. Truth is, when it's thrown to him, I don't want him passing. Fans could get hurt if they're not paying attention.

Job period is open. Let's just say other schools were not all that impressed with my first season at UNC-A.

15ish "keep looking, don't know why you'd want to make a lateral move"
12ish "step backwards, dumbass"
Unqualified for the rest.

Guess they like me marginally better than you.

30 "Keep looking"
14 "Longshot"
2 "Step backwards"

All the rest, not qualified.

14 keep looking
2 longshots
21 step backwards
.looks like I am staying put. Hoping to head west but no opportunities

Update!!!!

As you may or may not know, I took UNC-Asheville because they were one of 14 teams with no NT wins. There are still 14 teams with no NT wins in D1 Rupp.

Does Rupp have a low D1 population or something or does this guy just have terrible potential? How come the #11 SF in the country only had 2 humans on him, both of which were D & D- prestiges??
1/31/2018 8:22 PM
He was ineligible, obviously. Rupp D1 has the most humans in any world.

Green in ATH/DUR/STM
Blue in D
Black in SPD/BLK

Not sure how many humans were actually on him as the list stops at M. I recall two others but can't say for sure if they were D1. Smith is not a guy the big boys would want and I hit him hard early because, prior to Jones signing, he would have been my best player.

What is the current population of D1 Rupp?
