Pretty good. Tark and Phelan are at 120 so about even with the other heavily populated D1 worlds.

First FR is a walk-on so he's gone. I've filled 4 spots, SG with promised starts/minutes(probably play PG if I don't find another PG), an inel SF with promised starts/min(hoping he smartens up), a back-up SF in case the inel SF stays dumb and a back-up PF who is more of a project with green 64 D/41 LP. That leaves one schollie open.

Even though the FR PF is assigned to me/recruited by SIM, he's getting cut. I'll take a walk-on so I'll have the resources next season. I also intend to cut the 563 SO SG. He played 13.7 MPG and was 5th on team scoring but he's a bit of a turd. 27 passing from a guard produced more than twice as many TO as assists. I can't deal with that. That opens up 3 scholarships.

Now it gets complicated for me. 3 guards, 2 SF(possibly 1) and 4 big men. I essentially played 10 all season(the 11th got 14m, 1 REB, 1 ASST and nothing else). I want to cut the JR C but feel like I need 4 C/PF in my 3-2 zone to avoid fatigue. If the SF stays inel, or goes JUCO, I'm working with 7 rostered players going into RS2 if I cut the JR C. Getting a G, SF and C/PF in the second session seems damn near impossible as I'm leading on no one after RS1.
I cut the JR C and the FR PF. Signed this guy to play back-up C next season.

As noted in the "Considering list' thread, I lost out on a backcourt longshot. I haven't set up another option so I might be going with 9 next season. But that's OK, I knew it was a longshot so I've got a 9 man plan.

Got one of those mysterious 2 AM signings at moderate(didn't know you could sign at moderate).

Definitely a 10th man project. He's got a skillset that won't kill me in zone for 12 minutes per game. Blue in DEF, Green in ATH/BH. If ATH gets to around 50, he won't be the worst ever.

Get the win!!! This is foolish, though. 15-30 from the FT line in the first game then 13-14 in this game.

Moving this over here so I remember.

I'm running a little experiment at UNC Asheville since I'm changing D. I have 3 FR.

Tebo Offense-F Defense-D 3.11 GPA, 63 WE
Bonds Both-F 3.27 GPA, 81 WE
Buie Both-F 3.09 GPA, 47 WE

22 minutes in O, 25 in D. Tebo will start, Buie will get plenty of PT, Bonds won't play much.

Theoretically, with around an extra 95-100m of practice, one would think they players would improve just a little more in D(with the possible exception of Tebo as he starts higher).

Gonna try to update every 10 practices or so.
OK, after 5 practices(2 ex, 3 non-con), here we are:
Tebo: Off-D, Def-C-
Bonds: Off-D+, Def-D+
Buie: Off-D, Def-D

This makes sense, with GPA/WE factored in, but the extra 3 minutes in D is not making a difference.
Going back to this, I've been told anything over 25 is overkill. After 4(FOUR) practices, my all F IQ freshmen are now at D with 28 minutes. One practice less than with the 25 last season.

You should probably move this drivel to the Rupp forum board so you only bore coaches in that particular world.
