Injuries and medical budget Topic

I had a player get hurt for the whole season (shoulder, labrum tear). All his ratings dropped by 5!!!! Does a higher medical budget for recovery increase ratings at all?

Times like these I hope you have 20 million.

Does anybody have a list of injuries and the expected time that the player will be out with that type of injury?

I have a third year position player with forearm nerve irritation. He dropped arm strength and accuracy, and only got one recovery cycle in a 180+ day injury, on the 60 day DL. We just rolled, and he has 13 days left on his injury. Is that worth 60 day DLing again, or would that slow down his regular prospect-growth too much? It's going to be close to see if he can be an average defensive SS, and the bat would be average at best anywhere else.

How old is he? Over 24? If you have 20 mil medical, I'd DL him again and leave him as long as he keeps getting recovery bumps, thinking maybe to bring him back at midseason.

22. I guess the question is if you are DL'd can you also get your normal stat bumps or is it an either or, stat bumps or recovery bumps?

Pro years matter. Injury recovery will usually only improve the affected ratings. In season progress in "learned" skills only. IOW, your guy will get another recovery cycle, possibly more, in AA/AS but his glove will not improve while on the DL.

Gotcha. Thanks seems not worth it in this particular case.
