Let's be real. Now you're arguing just to argue. Hollywood is definitely extremely liberal. Nobody argues that fact. The award shows are definitely biased towards the left.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a black actress saying she’s rooting for black people to win Emmy awards.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a black actress saying she’s rooting for black people to win Emmy awards.
I agree, but I don't think a white person should be belittled if they do the same.

My point is it is a double standard. Imagine a white actress stating she is hoping white people win. Both are wrong. The Best person should win.

Nothing about it was out of line. Historically, black people (and other POC) haven’t won those awards. It’s perfectly fine to root for them.

Would I be OK saying "I hope a Jewish persons wins"?

Historically African Americans win the MVP in the NBA. Would it be OK for a coach to say "I hope a white persons wins it"?
